KMB Scania N113DRB

In 1993, Kowloon Motor Bus ("KMB") introduced two 11.5-metre Scania N113DRB demonstrators AS1 (FU 482) and AS2 (FU 2948) with Alexander bodywork. In order to arouse the attention of the public that these two buses were environmental friendly, KMB designed a special livery and organized an inauguration ceremony for them.

The performance of the two buses was considered satisfactory and a batch of 20 new buses (AS3-22) were ordered and entered service in late-1996. They were installed with 2+2 high-back seats and modified Nippondenso air-conditioned systems.
