ADS-class Dennis Dragons were the shortest air-conditioned buses in the Kowloon Motor Bus ("KMB") fleet with their 9.9-metre bodies. They were introduced in 3 batches. The first batch of 30 (ADS1-30) was introduced in 1993. The second batch was also the lagest one which consists 155 buses (ADS31-185) introduced in 1996-1997. The air-condition system was modified starting from this batch. Also, from ADS146 onwards, 2+2 seating configuration was adopted. The last batch of 50 (ADS186-235) was delivered in 1999. These 50 buses were equiped with EURO II Cummins M11 engines. They were also the last "high-floor" and white body livery double-deckers in the KMB fleet.

Following the withdrawal from service of the last ADS bus, ADS235 on 6 July 2017, KMB's white body livery has become part of history, and all KMB buses are now low-floor.
