NWFB 700-series Kowloon and New Territories Routes

New World First Bus ("NWFB") was awarded the operating rights of a package of new bus routes in the new Tseung Kwan O development zone in November 1999. These routes were introduced by phases from early 2000 to 2002. The first two routes - 796M and 796X - commenced operation on 1 February 2000. This is the first time for NWFB in operating bus routes wholly within the Kowloon Peninsula and the New Territories.

In November 2002, NWFB was further awarded a package of bus routes in West Kowloon Reclamation. The bus routes have been introduced progressively from 2003 to tie in with population intake in West Kowloon Reclamation.

The 700-series routes are as follows:
